I set world climbing and skiing records in the Himalaya, and mountain ranges around the globe. I competed for U.S. A. on the World Cup Biathlon Team.

I have written and photographed 20 award winning books, about my explorations, and life with indigenous people on every continent. I have lectured for children, students, corporations, and the military.
